Please pray for the repose of the soul of Bishop-Emeritus Alan Kenyon-Hoare who died today. Bishop-Emeritus Kenyon-Hoare, of the former ACC Missionary Diocese of Southern Africa was instrumental in the development of the Church here in South Africa. He was initially the Vicar General of the Diocese which back in 2007 covered the entire country and the nations of Lesotho and Swaziland.
After election as the first bishop ordinary of the Diocese, he would continue to lead the growth of the ACC and at his retirement in 2015, the fruits of his labours would ripen into the creation of 5 additional Dioceses in Southern Africa, the latest being the Missionary Diocese of the West in January 2020.
