The Reverend Michael Williams, also known as Fr. Mike, or Canon Williams, has resigned, upon his own accord and for causes that which do not affect his moral character, from the priesthood in the Anglican Catholic Church and in the Missionary Diocese of the West, effective 5 July 2021.
The Vicar General, having been duly informed by the Episcopal Visitor, has accepted such resignation and hereby pronounces that the Reverend Williams is therefore, in accordance with Canon 10.8.02, deposed and released from obligations of the Ministerial Office, and that he is deprived of all exercise of the gifts and spiritual authority as a Minister of God’s Word and Sacraments conferred on him by his Ordination.
